The third in Amaranth's femme fatales series. ([link])
This image took ages - it's unfortunate all the detail doesn't show up on web versions. All the snow and weather is done by hand, except the ground which is put together from the last snow in London. The forest is from Highgate Wood, and the tombstones from Highgate Cemetary. Amaranth was shot in the studio. The spiders are hand-painted. I'm pretty happy with the result. Maybe I should give matte painting a go? |
